This policy explains how Cloudkit Interiors Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202301028554 (1521437-H), “Cloudkit”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with the website cloudkit.pro and our design-and-build services, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (“PDPA”).

1. Data we collect

We collect only what a design practice genuinely needs:

• Enquiry data — your name, email address, phone number, property type and the project description you choose to share through our briefing form, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Engagement data — if you commission us: property addresses, floor plans, budget parameters, billing details and correspondence generated during the project.
• Technical data — limited analytics cookies (only with your consent) describing how visitors move through this site. See our Cookie Policy.

2. Why we process it

• To respond to your briefing request and prepare a proposal you asked for;
• To perform a signed design or construction agreement, including authority submissions made on your behalf;
• To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting and building-authority record requirements;
• To improve this website, where you have consented to analytics.

We do not sell personal data, rent mailing lists or run third-party advertising on this site.

3. Who sees your data

Within a live commission, relevant details are shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with: our own design and site staff; structural engineers and specialist consultants engaged for your project; local authorities where submissions require it; and our accountants and professional advisers. Each party is bound by contract or professional duty to confidentiality.

4. Retention

Enquiry data that does not become a commission is deleted within 24 months. Project records are retained for 7 years after practical completion, reflecting limitation periods under Malaysian law, then securely destroyed.

5. Security

Data is stored on access-controlled systems with encryption in transit. Physical documents live in our studio under lock. Only staff working on your matter may access your file.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to, and correction of, your personal data; withdraw consent to processing (which may limit our ability to serve you); and limit processing for direct marketing. Write to [email protected] or to the studio address below. We respond within 21 days.
