Cloudkit Interiors
The Practice

A small studio, on purpose.

Cloudkit Interiors was founded in 2017 on an unfashionable idea: that a design practice gets better by taking on less, not more. We have held ourselves to fifteen commissions a year ever since.

How We Work

Design and build under one roof

Most renovation grief in Malaysia lives in the gap between the designer’s drawings and the contractor’s reality. We closed that gap by refusing to split the two. The people who draw your home and the people who build it sit in the same office, answer to the same director and share one deadline.

That is what lets us do the thing clients find hardest to believe: sign a fixed sum before demolition day and keep to it. Since 2017, more than 120 residences, boutiques and workplaces across the Klang Valley have been handed over on those terms.

“A room is finished when nothing in it is asking for attention. We design toward that silence — and we put the price in writing before we start.”

Adeline Foo, Creative Director — interior architect, 18 years of practice across Kuala Lumpur and Singapore

What We Hold To

Four standards we do not negotiate

Seniority on every site

Your commission is led by a designer with at least eight years of built work behind them, and reviewed by the creative director at concept, tender and pre-handover.

The number is the number

One fixed sum covers design, construction, joinery and supervision. Variations happen only when you ask for them, priced in writing first.

Tropical by default

We specify for 90 per cent humidity, driving rain and afternoon sun — timbers that stay true, stones that keep cool and details that survive Malaysian weather.

Everything documented

You receive full drawings, specifications and a care file at handover. If a tap fails in year three, you will know exactly what it is and where it came from.

The Studio

Rooted in Mid Valley, working across the Klang Valley

The studio occupies Suite 9-2 of The Gardens North Tower — a working atelier of drafting tables, sample walls and a material library that clients are welcome to raid. Briefings happen here or at your property, Monday to Saturday, by appointment.

From Bangsar to Mont Kiara, Petaling Jaya to Putrajaya, our site teams are never more than an hour from the projects they run.

Meet us before you decide anything.

A briefing carries no fee and no obligation — just an honest hour about your property and what it could become.
